The adult Western Juniper (Juniperus Occidentalis) a.k.a. (Post-Settlement Juniper), may consume up to 35 gallons of water per day; thus creating shortages of water for native flora and fauna. The specie is considered evasive and is quickly drying the watering pools, aquifers, and other water reserves.
